Partner Terms

These terms apply when you list a hotel, homestay, resort, lodge or other property on Booking Sathi. They sit alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Version 1.1 · Effective 8 October 2026

The short version

  • Listing is free. Booking Sathi earns a commission on each completed booking. The rate in force is shown in your partner tools and on every statement.
  • Today guests pay you at the property. We send you a statement for the commission you owe, and you pay it by the due date shown.
  • Keep your rooms, prices and availability accurate, and honour every confirmed booking.
  • Treat guests fairly and protect their personal information.

1The agreement

These Partner Terms are an agreement between Booking Sathi and the business that lists a property (“you”, the “partner”). You accept them when you submit a property application, and each acceptance is recorded with its version and date. The person accepting confirms they are authorised to bind the business.

2Who can list

  • You must legally operate the property, or be authorised by its owner, and hold every licence, registration and tax registration that Nepal’s laws require to accept guests.
  • You must give true, complete information about your business, owners and property, and keep it up to date.

3Verification and publishing

  • We review each application and its documents. We may ask for more information, and we may decline an application we cannot verify.
  • After approval you set up rooms, prices, photos, policies and contact details. Booking Sathi publishes the listing when it is complete. We may pause or unpublish a listing that becomes inaccurate, unsafe or breaks these terms.

4Your listing

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of everything in your listing: descriptions, photos, amenities, room types, prices, taxes and fees, availability, policies and house rules.
  • Prices you show must include the taxes and fees that guests will be asked to pay, and must not be higher on Booking Sathi only to then offer a lower price to the guest directly.
  • You give Booking Sathi a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use your listing content and brand to promote your property on our website, apps and marketing.
  • Only upload photos and content you own or have permission to use.

5Bookings

  • Instant bookings are confirmed immediately. Booking requests must be accepted or declined within the time shown in your partner tools.
  • You must honour every confirmed booking at the price, room and conditions the guest booked. If you truly cannot, contact the guest and Booking Sathi straight away through the app; we may charge the cost of relocating the guest where you are at fault.
  • Keep your availability calendar up to date, including bookings you take elsewhere, to avoid overbooking.
  • Keep payments and guest communication about Booking Sathi bookings on the platform. Do not move guests to book directly to avoid commission.

6Commission

  • Booking Sathi charges a commission on each booking that results in a stay. The standard rate is 10% of the room price, before taxes and before fees passed through to the guest, unless a different rate is agreed with you in writing or shown in your partner tools.
  • The rate that applies to a booking is fixed when the booking is confirmed. A later change of rate never changes bookings already confirmed.
  • Where a cancellation or no-show charge is collected, commission applies to that charge at the same rate.
  • We may change the standard rate for future bookings by giving you at least 30 days’ notice in the partner tools or by email.

7Statements, billing and payouts

  • Pay at property: while guests pay you directly, you hold Booking Sathi’s commission. We issue a statement listing each booking and the commission owed, and you pay it to us by the due date on the statement using a payment method we accept.
  • Online payments: when online payment is offered and a guest pays Booking Sathi, we pay you the booking amount minus commission to your verified bank account, on the payout schedule shown in your partner tools. Money we owe you may be set off against money you owe us.
  • Payouts are made only to a bank account in the name of the verified business, after any hold period needed for refunds or disputes.
  • If you think a statement is wrong, raise it in the partner tools before the due date. We will review it and correct it if needed.
  • You are responsible for your own taxes on what you earn. Our statements show amounts in Nepali rupees (NPR).

8Cancellations and no-shows

  • The cancellation and no-show policy you set is shown to the guest before booking and applies to that booking. You may not apply a stricter policy afterwards.
  • You may mark a no-show only after the check-in day has passed and the guest did not arrive.
  • Cancelling a confirmed booking yourself should be rare and must have a genuine reason. Repeated cancellations affect your listing’s ranking and may lead to suspension.

9Guests and their data

  • Treat every guest fairly and do not discriminate on the basis of religion, caste, ethnicity, gender, nationality or disability.
  • Use guest information only to provide the stay and meet your legal obligations (such as guest registration). Do not use it for marketing or share it with others, and keep it secure.
  • Give staff access to the partner tools only to people who need it, and remove access when they leave. You are responsible for what your staff do in your account.

10Promotions

Deals, discounts and campaigns you create are funded by you unless the promotion says Booking Sathi funds it. You must honour them for bookings made while they were live. Booking Sathi-funded promotions never reduce your share.

11Quality, reviews and enforcement

  • Guests may review their stay. You may reply publicly, but you may not offer benefits for reviews or pressure guests to change them.
  • We monitor complaints, cancellations and quality. We may warn you, lower your ranking, pause bookings or remove your listing for serious or repeated problems, fraud or safety risks, and will explain why where we can.

12Ending the agreement

You may stop listing at any time by asking us to unpublish your property. Bookings already confirmed must still be honoured, and commission already owed must still be paid. We may end this agreement with notice, or immediately for fraud, serious breach or legal reasons.

13Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. A new version is shown in your partner tools, and significant changes take effect after notice. Continuing to accept bookings after a change takes effect means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal and disputes are decided by the courts of Kathmandu.
